Wesleyan Men

This group seeks to extend the kingdom of God by providing necessary support for all ministerial, social and maintenance activities of the Jamaica-Queens Wesleyan church.  Their mandate is soul-winning, service, stewardship and fellowship.

Membership of this organization is open to all men who attend the Jamaica-Queens church, especially those who participate in men's ministries of the local church.  The Wesleyan Men group meets every 3rd Sunday of the month, at 11:15 a.m., during the Sunday School hour, and seeks through fund-raising activities, to complete specific projects which benefit the entire church.

The executive officers of the Jamaica-Queens Wesleyan Men are elected annually by the Annual Church Conference, which takes place in May each year.  The officers who were elected to serve for the coming year are:

Through this website, men will be able to submit prayer requests and give support to others, also access the district's calendar of upcoming events for future participation.  The site will also be a place where funds can be donated safely for active fundraising projects.  Here pictures of special events and at a later time, employment opportunities can be stored.
Wesleyan Men provide the necessary muscle for Wesleyan Women, and men from this group are chosen to perform special duties such as driving the church van during special events, and also to facilitate the attendance at church services on Sundays, for persons located in the other boroughs, who have expressed an interest in worshipping with us.  These men hold the responsibility for performing important maintenance functions of the church, and by holding their own annual fundraiser, provide important funds for worthwhile projects promoted by the church.  They play an important part in setting positive examples for the behavior of young, upcoming Christian men, and being the role models which are sometimes missing in the lives of young children.
